His two sons Hans and Joachim, immigrated to the United States in 1861 and 1854, respectively. Another line of Dassows are descendants of Andreas Dassow who was born about 1800 in Germany. His son Chrithoph came over to the United States in 1854. Certainly these two groups of Dassows may be related. As you can see, Hans' son Wilhelm wins the prize for fertility.
